Villa Park’s HalloweenFest lands on Friday, October 30, giving families a neighborhood celebration before Halloween itself. The Villa Park Community Services Foundation lists the gathering from 4 to 7 p.m. at Villa Park Town Center, 17855 Santiago Boulevard. The city calendar independently confirms the same date and hours.
The foundation’s preview promises trick-or-treating, a costume contest, games and food. It is the sort of local outing where the costume gets another appearance and neighbors have a reason to linger together at the town center. Check the organizer’s information before going for any updates to individual activities or costs.
The event also has a community story behind it. Founded in 2002 by the City of Villa Park, the foundation organizes local events and encourages volunteer participation. Its work relies on support from sponsors and resident members, according to its website.
For anyone looking to contribute locally, the foundation also provides a volunteer contact route. Event questions can go to 714-998-1500 or info@vpcsfoundation.org. For now, circle Friday, not Saturday, on the family calendar: this gathering is the day before Halloween.
